This activity is designed to be displayed in color and can be used on an interactive board or LMS. Intern

This is a extremely handy and practical. Word lists are good but far better is where vocabulary is in the context of a sentence. For example “amendment = enmienda” is okay but the word is far more quickly, naturally and easily learned when a student has the sentence: “The Second Amendment is about fire arms. = La Segunda Enmienda es sobre armas de fuego.” This way students learn not just words but also concepts: full-scale learning. Therefore I have written many other items on history, soc

High-Frequency Words Assessment: Sign Language & Pictures

This is a high-frequency words test I made for my student with a hearing impairment. Students sign the vocabulary word and receive a check on the line if they sign it correct. (Students without a hearing impairment can read the word for credit). The vocabulary word is bold-faced in a sentence and the student chooses the picture that appropriately represents the word. This assessment is very visual and would benefit not just students with hearing impairments. A great tool to use!
