Wash out that brush, Snap that cap, Quit stabbing the glue tip! Whatever it is, your supplies deserve the best treatment. They will treat you the way you treat them. If you bang your pencil, the lead will fall out when you sharpen or draw. If you peel your crayon, it will crack under pressure.

Fill Up the SPACE in color
As an art teacher, I have had so many of my students not fill up the paper space. I pull out my big, nice, white, expensive paper for them to draw on a BIG project. There's always that one student that draws their main subject super small which leads to minimal detail. So, I point to the poster, "FILL UP THE SPACE"!!!! If the paper is big, draw big.
