I have served as a teacher in an environmental education center, a naturalist, nature center manager, and state-wide education coordinator for state parks. I have designed and provided environmental education programming that connects to the school curriculum for thousands of students. Teaching experience includes working with 40 public school districts leading environmental education programming for 5th through 12th grades, birding experience includes holding a Federal Bird Banding Permit, conducting annual bird surveys at multiple parks, serving as compiler for a hawk watch site, serving as compiler for Audubon Bird Counts, and leading a variety of guided birdwalks and birding workshops. Experience in conducting flora surveys and creating park flora lists for multiple parks. Registered to tag Monarch butterflies with Washington State University. Over 30 years of photography experience using Nikon cameras and lenses with photos used in interpretive exhibits across the USA.
