I use this song as a cue for transitioning time. The song "polite" builds vocabulary, while teach the Life Principles and Character Education.. An ACHIEVEMENT Chant

This chant is how I begin class everyday. Not only is it a great way for the kids to get motivated for class (and teach them to spell the word achievement), but it's a great procedure for beginning a class. We pat, pat (our desks), and clap, clap (our hands) in rhythm through the chant. The kids love it and so do I. It's also a great way to raise motivation before a test or big assessment, as well!
