I have always struggled teaching this topic, and another teacher shared this song and it worked wonders on my students. I made this graphic organizer to tie everything together for them and it worked great.
The first page is what is given to the students and the 2nd page is your reference for what the song is saying. I usually have the students make a beat on the desk and they will remember the song, which will let them factor cubes!

Geography - Johnny Cash "I've Been Everywhere" map activity
Students will listen to the song I've Been Everywhere" by Johnny Cash while looking at a copy of the lyrics with locations. After listening to the song and looking at the lyrics, students will have to choose two of the four stanzas from the song to eventually label and plot on their map. In short, students will choose their lists of cities, look up the latitude and latitude of the city, and label them with the appropriate color of their choice.

Graphing Quadratics Song Chain
This is a cut and tape colored musical "chain" activity used to practice graphing quadratic equations. The teacher should print the activity on three different colored pieces of paper for each student. The student then cuts out the pieces and tapes them in order to create a colored chain by matching the quadratic equation to its graph.
