COOL Song About How to Compare Fractions
I rewrote the words to "Havana" by Camila Cabello and renamed it "Denominator Ooh-Na-Na" to be about finding common denominators and comparing fractions. My students LOVED it, learned how to rap (kind of), and I was able to reuse phrases from this song while teaching to remind them how to find common denominators when comparing, adding, or subtracting fractions. I added actions and my kids memorized it. I could figure out a way to send you the actions if you're interested. I used the youtube
