National Richter Scale Day - April 26
April 26th is National Richter Day in celebration of the person who created the Richter Scale, Charles F. Richter. This is a 8 page pdf document that briefly goes through what the Richter Scale is and how it relates to earthquakes. Students are asked to watch the Bill Nye episode on earthquakes and answer questions.
