Diwali Lesson & Celebration
These Slides will walk your students through a Diwali celebration in a fun and informative way! Students watch a video and do five activities to correspond to the days of Diwali. You will need some supplies (full list included), but you can also make a copy of the Slides and adapt them to the supplies you have on hand. My students loved this activity, and it was much more memorable than just reading about the holiday.

Chinese History Play: The Life and Death of Shi Huang Di
This is a comedy I wrote to elaborate upon some of the entertaining and sometimes brutal stories and legends surrounding China's first Emperor Qin Shi Huang Di. It has some dark humor but is totally school appropriate. My students loved acting out this play and learned much about Chinese history.
