French - Ordering Food at a Restaurant
This is a great little template for students to learn how to order a meal at a restaurant. Also included is how to ask for the bill (l'addition).
Students can fill in the blanks with the things they are ordering.
I had my own students prepare this a little and present it in front of the class. The students had a blast, totally getting into character and trying very hard to memorize their own lines.
Working on practical skills like ordering food is a must in my French classroom!

L'histoire de l'origine de Bonhomme Carnaval
The following play is an adaptation from the book "La fabuleuse histoire de Bonhomme Carnaval" written by Nadège Cochard and Mathieu Plante.
This fun play is based on a legend on how Bonhomme came to be. Students recite lines in French and narrators explain each scene in English to the audience. Beginner French listening activity
This activity tests student listening competencies. The first page is the handout given to students, and the second page is the teacher transcript and key. This activity is divided into three parts. Students listen to a short narrative read by you and answer questions. Part two is a grocery list with quantities and food items. Students are challenged to identify 5 items on the list.
