I'm sure I'm not alone in having a grade school education that largely avoided issues of racial injustice. Sure, we learned about slavery, but nothing about persisting injustices. In light of current events, it is especially important that even young learners have exposure to concepts like discrimination, privilege, and racial justice. I created this packet to help make sure that parents and educators have access to materials to help them discuss the events that are happening during this quickly
