Historical Figures Rubric
Looking for a quick and way to grade any type of presentation on historical figures? This is your answer. This rubric contains categories such as required elements, historical facts, questions, roles, and research. It is editable so you can easily take out items that don't apply to your class or add in items that are important to you and your standards. Made for a third grade Focus class but can be altered and applied to any grade level.

This excel document will allow you to begin organizing your classroom library! Every time I get a new book, I simply add it to the spreadsheet. I like to add information like: title, author, text type (picture book, chapter book, leveled reader, etc), genre, reading level, classroom location (what basket it's in) and if it has a special topic (i.e. Back to School books). I LOVE my organized library. I can find any book I need in a matter of seconds. I also know what I have so I don't buy a bunch

In this unit, the students take the Briggs-Meyers test, reflect on what their "code" means to their educational, personal, and career decisions, then they decide on a career to research and make a presentation in the form of a recruitment film or slideshow.

Student Non-Fiction Book Publishing Rubric
I used this rubric for my students when they created non-fiction books about the Native American Tribes. Students folded 3-4 sheets of white paper in half, bound it with staples, and then filled it in with the required content. This project incorporated our social studies content while reinforcing writing skills and identifying, using, and creating text features. This product can be modified to accommodate any non-fiction subject area. A great tool for integrating multiple content areas into one
