Native American Literature Thirteen Moons On Turtle's Back
This is a one day literature activity that accompanies the Native American legend Thirteen Moons on Turtle's Back. Students read about each moon to analyze the illustrations and answer comprehension questions, then they create their own thirteen moons and name them. This is also a good resource to integrate Social Studies Native American Studies with Science Moon Studies and literature.
