This is a really FUN activity. The students make ice cream in a bag. I have used it as an activity for physical science and phase changes. I have also just used it as a fun end-of-the-year activity. I also included some activities that I have my students do while they are waiting to make their ice cream or waiting for other kids to finish their ice cream. I have the kids create their own ice cream flavor. This is easily turned in to a writing assignment.

You could display the slides whole class for students to follow step by step instructions or use for yourself.
