Students will create a social media style page for a chemist. This document gives an overview of the assignment, and a list of 51 chemists.I specifically included women and people of color on this list, and represented people from a variety of countries. There are people from long ago as well as some alive today.Students will need Internet access to research their scientist.

This product is great to combine with an overall discussion on the benefits and disadvantages of nuclear chemistry. This helps students understand the bigger implications of what the future of nuclear chemistry can look like. Usually combined with a collaborative project in which students learn about positive uses of nuclear chemistry. A padlet is used to create a discussion for the students to give their opinions about nuclear chemistry in their lives.

Celebrating Black History, Present & Future in Physics
This is a slideshow that students can edit to celebrate Black History (and present and future!) in Physics. I designed it for my students to work in groups of two and present to the class. It can be done virtually or in person. There are 13 physicists or people with physics degrees with links to websites about them. Students are instructed to follow the link and find a second source and prepare a one slide presentation on their background and achievements.
