By Math - It Works My heart lies in teaching math to 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. I believe passionately that an excellent math education will open many doors for my students in the future. I have been teaching for 12 years and in 2008 earned my National Board Certification. Three years ago I became a math coach for my district. Although, on occasion, I work with adults on committees at the state level, my heart lies in the elementary classroom.
Expect more! I push, push, push, while providing a strong foundation. Like I tell my students... "It's not rocket science....yet."
