ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

Huali Xiong has taught ESL to university students and CFL to elementary students since 1983. After 30 years, Huali still finds teaching exciting, challenging and rewarding, especially CFL to the young learners, who have constantly provided lots of inspiration for her to create the best resources and methods to meet the needs of this special group. Since 2003, Huali has presented at conferences and published a lot of materials, including songs and stories. The songs she published as “Let’s Sing Mandarin” have been widely used in international schools worldwide. And the stories are very much liked by her students at Singapore American School, where she has been teaching since 2001.
