Description
This song teaches number 1-10. Sung to the familiar "Row row row your boat" tune, this song makes it very easy for children as young as three years old to learn how to count from 1-10 and 10 - 1 in Chinese.
In the beginning, sing the song very slowly. After students know the song well, this song can be used in the following way:
1. As a transition signal. Whenever the teacher starts this song, children carry on singing while coming back to the rug area.
2. As a warming- up activity.
3. As a prop to teach "fast" and "slow". Students can sing it faster or more slowly following teacher's instruction.
4. As a prop to teach "loud" and "soft". Students can sing it in a louder voice while singing 1-10 and a softer voice while singing 10 -1.
