Huali XIONG created this song, sung to a familiar tune, more than ten years ago. Published in a series of books named “Let’s Sing Mandarin”, this song has been popularly used in many international elementary Chinese classes for transition time.

In the beginning, students are required to make a circle whenever this song is played. After a few times, students will have learnt how to sing this song.

After that, whenever the teacher sings the first line, students will continue singing while making a big circle. By the time the song ends, a circle is made and students sit nicely with hands on their laps, ready for the next activity.
