This is a great activity to use before, on, or after Election Day. Or even any day in November! After reading Duck for President, we vote whether or not Duck should be president. During this voting process the students give reasons why or why not. Then we use the graphic organizer to plan our friendly letter to Duck. After organizing our thoughts on a graphic organizer, we write a friendly letter! 2 paper choices are provided (regular lines or primary lines). Enjoy!
