Turkey Handprint Poem or Placemat
This is a cute little turkey poem to use as a gift for parents or could be made into a placemat or book. Print the page in color or black and white and have each child make a handprint in the middle. Paint the palm of the hand brown and each finger a different color for the feathers. Draw a beak, waddle, and feet on the turkey. Laminate to use as a placemat!

Chicken Soup with Rice coloring book
I use this booklet after reading the book Chicken Soup with Rice by Maurice Sendak. The children can use the blank books to draw their own pictures to go along with the words on each page. The optional version with original line drawings is included for children who can not yet read to remind them of the occasion celebrated each month. Georgia Habitat and Region Unit
This unit was created using the Georgia Standards. There are also many reading comprehension sheets that can be assessed as a reading and social studies grade. The Unit includes a study guide that I printed out and put into folders to use as a resource throughout the study. This is also used for the research conducted during the unit study. There is enough and more than enough to teach all standards needed and to extend the knowledge of any child.
