This is a math probability activity for kids to do in partners or small groups. I did it as part of a larger Harry Potter unit, but you could also do it as a stand-alone activity. Kids will be pulling a sample of 20 Fizzing Whizzbees (M&Ms) and recording their data. Then they will make a prediction about the colors of the whole bag based on their sample. They will write their prediction and reasoning and then write about their final results.
