The first part is the student booklet. It is arranged into 3, 45 minutes lessons--each containing with a "brain wake" (a 5 minute literacy activity), a vocabulary lesson, a content activity, a reading passage and a writing passage.
The second part is the teacher's guide which tells you exactly what to do with each part of the lesson. Each lesson ends with a reflection that could be sent home.
It ends with a literacy based assessment.
