Earthquakes - A Research Video Project & Rubric
This is a great way to get students to learn about earthquakes around the world, their effects and safety precautions. The video creation helps them use technology to research and create a report about an earthquake that happened, in an innovative and fun way. Their focus will be to use technology, but they will find that they have learned a great deal about earthquakes in the process. They will also be able to peer-evaluate their work, which helps them assess their own and compare it to others

Earth Science literacy on the iPad rubric - Distance Learning
This assignment is a great way to engage students in becoming scientifically literate. Students use the app “NASA Visualization Explorer” (available for IOS and Android devices) to explore cutting edge research results concerning the Earth, sun, moon, planets and universe from NASA. Geologic Timeline Project Grading Rubric
