Human Body Unit Research Project and Presentation
Wanting to end your human body unit with something that will allow students to learn more than what you were able to teach in the classroom? Well here's the project and information already here for you! This packet includes a parent letter, resources, and grading rubric for a human body research project. Each student will create a 2-D or 3-D model of a body part, write a report, and give a presentation in class.
This pairs perfectly with the Human Body Student Booklet sold in my TpT store.
Punnett Square BCR (Brief Constructed Response)
Students complete this brief constructed response (BCR) using their knowledge of the punnett square. Included on this one sheet is a problem, a punnett square, an area for students to explain their answer, and a rubric to score student responses.

External Structures of Animals- writing rubric
Write an informational paragraph that clearly explains how an animal’s external structures function to support survival, growth, behavior, and/or adaption to its environment. Your paragraph should inform the audience about at least 3 specific external structures, how these structures function, and how these structures support survival, growth, behavior, and/or adaption. Your focus (external structures) should be accurate and supported by textual evidence from the research material provided.
PBL: Bones!
This is a week long project that includes a student booklet, checklist, rubric, and teacher information. During this project students will research about bones, complete various activities including a bones race and dissecting an owl pellet. At the end of the week students will create and present a student led presentation.
