Beginning Fractions Mini-Unit
In this mini-unit, you will find whole group and small group activities, assessments, and rubrics. These activities are aligned to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade Common Core Standards, and will help your students learn to divide shapes (specifically rectangles and circles) into equal parts. Students will also learn to use the terms "half, "third," and "fourth," as well as beginning simple fractions.
