Literacy Through Play Observation Log
This Play Observation Log is designed to capture students’ language, choices, and activities during play time. The data collected here can be used to inform writing instruction.
There are two versions of the log: a one page sheet and a two page sheet. The two page sheet offers more space for note taking.
Simply print the Observation Log, hop on the carpet during play time and put on your best listening ears!
