3-D Shapes and Nets notes
Students will identify 3-dimensional shapes, their base(s) and faces, based off their nets. I used this for notes, followed by my "Nets and 3D Figures" worksheet for students to practice and do as homework.
Volume with Whole Numbers Book
This is a great book to help introduce or review calculating volume. I use it as guided notes that my students glue into their math journals. Pages 1-2 copy back to back. Page 3 fold in half and staple in. The fourth page I cut in half and my students match the dimensions with the volume and glue just the top so they can see the matching volume.

Word Problem of the Day Week 3
Here are 5 word problems about scale drawings. Students will use the "Three Reads" strategy to solve each word problem. This strategy forces the students to read the problem 3 times, first they write down any key information. The second time they read it, they write down what the question is asking. The last time that they read it, they brainstorm ideas and try to solve. It really helps to slow students down and have them actually think about what the problem is saying.
