It is a great resource to have on hand so that teachers can post it to a website and students can download it when needed. Argument Essay Graphic Organizer with Sentence Stems
I have found that middle school students often don't know how to organize paragraphs in an argument essay so that they can cite textual evidence and their own experience evidence. I created this graphic organizer to help them properly structure an argument essay. It includes approximate number of sentences for each part of each paragraph, sentence stems, and transition words. Basically, they just choose one of the sentence stems and one of the transition words from the options on the organizer.
