Have your students work individually, with a partner, or a small group to create their own menu. This project will guide your students through the requirements and brainstorming process.
In the past, I have typically done this activity after our lesson in sales tax and tipping. Upon completion of the project, I would take the students on a reward trip out to lunch or breakfast. Students have to plan what they want to order within the amount of money they have including tax and tip).
