Scratch - Jumping and Gravity

Created by
M P
A Scratch tutorial that explains how to add acceleration and gravity to a jumping object in scratch. The character will jump a bit like "Super Mario" or other 2D platformers. In this example I used a ball instead of a character so I added a bit of a bounce when it hits the ground. This is a great way of differentiating for students who are advancing in scratch and want a challenge. There is a lot of physics in the tutorial and this could be modified as an integrated physics lesson also.
