Are you using our Binary and Imaging unit in your classroom? This video is a great add-on to the unit looking at how our eyes see differently than digital cameras.
The pixel size of our eyes, from the cell size of rods and cones, and that of digital cameras are just about the same. So which can image better? Our eyes, or digital cameras?

Scratch - Jumping and Gravity
A Scratch tutorial that explains how to add acceleration and gravity to a jumping object in scratch. The character will jump a bit like "Super Mario" or other 2D platformers. In this example I used a ball instead of a character so I added a bit of a bounce when it hits the ground.
This is a great way of differentiating for students who are advancing in scratch and want a challenge.
There is a lot of physics in the tutorial and this could be modified as an integrated physics lesson also.
