Complementos Directos - Direct Objects lesson using inductive approach
This Smartboard lesson uses an inductive approach to teach Spanish direct objects. Students read and compare 2 paragraphs, one using the direct object repeatedly, the other using the pronoun to replace the direct object. They then try to construct the rules for replacing the direct object with the pronoun.

Balancing Equations the SMART Way
AFTER USING THIS, ALL OF MY STUDENTS CAN BALANCE EQUATIONS WITH 85%+ ACCURACY!!!
This is an activity for students to master the skill of balancing chemical equations. It does so by not using any math skills beyond addition. Although the lesson begins with the 'model method', I feel that the real application of this lesson the 'chemical pull down method'.
There are enough slides in this presentation for each student in your class to come to the board and prove that they can balance equations.
