Critical and Creative Thinking - Invention Unit Based on SCAMPER
I created and implemented this unit in a small group gifted and talented pull-out classroom. It could be done with advanced fourth or fifth graders. Parts of the unit may also be appropriate for independent enrichment.

The Laws and Properties Of Multiplication and Division Facts teacher's resource is the total work I used for 30 years in introducing the facts, and maintaining recall, while reducing recall time and counting.
In using this system with the Laws and Properties, teachers and students reduce memorizing 144 facts for multiplication and division (288 equations or 576 equations in Family of Facts) to just three Laws and 55 factor/product combinations.

The Brain and Mind Connection Enrichment Unit
This unit was created for gifted/talented pull out instruction for fourth grade but it also appropriate for gifted/talented pull out instruction for fifth grade.
The unit usually take 8-12 weeks in a pull out setting, adding in teacher supplemental activities with this document.
