Aztec Art Projects Elementary School
These are 3 Aztec inspired art projects that I did with my students. They can be adapted to K-5, but I did these projects with my K-3. They are all inspired by real art objects from the Aztec civilization. The students loved learning about Aztec culture and it's connection to modern Mexico during this lesson. Romero Britto combines cubism, pop, and graffiti art in his colourful paintings full of bright hues and patterns.
