This is a vertical progression of all K-5 English Language Arts Common Core Standards in the Reading Standards for Literature strand’s Craft and Structure cluster with "I Can" statements and IEP goals/Learning Targets. The standards are chunked together by Anchor Standard cluster to make working with them simpler and more efficient. Find your grade level, then climb up, scoot down. Follow that standard to see where your students have been in that skill (cluster) and where they are headed.

For my top two reading groups I had them work on choosing a chapter book, putting together a book project, based off of book project ideas I found on TPT in the free selections, and then had them present to the class. The students kept a book log of when they read as well as a 2-4 sentence summary of what they read. On the due date, the students presented their projects to one another and were graded based on the attached rubric.
