Project Guidelines for a middle school health class!Four-part Fast Food Research Project appropriate for a middle school health class focusing on nutrition. The project is designed to help students understand the impact that fast food can have on their health, and it's full of engaging activities that will keep them interested and motivated. I think this project would be a great addition to your health curriculum, and I highly recommend that you give it a try.
Tobacco Prevention R.A.F.T. lesson plan
This is a lesson that I created to teach my students about the harmful effects of tobacco. I created a "lung" organizer for students to record information and facts that could be helpful in persuading someone from using tobacco products. This could be utilized with a science / health textbook, a power point, or any other resource you may have.
Students will then take the factual information that they have created and write a R.A.F.T. The students role will be to pretend that they are a lung.
