Students utilize technology to help them apply fractions to the real world. Students search for a recipe online that includes fractions with the ingredients. Students will then change the recipe my multiplying each ingredient by a whole number.
After finding a recipe and changing the measurements, students create a poster (my class used 11x17 paper) to share their work!
This is a fun way to help students make connections between classroom content and its every day use. We loved it!
