In a unit studying ancient Mesopotamia, the concept of natural vs. capital vs. human resources proved difficult for my students to differentiate. Using the tale of "The Three Little Pigs" student calls upon their previous knowledge to help fill in a chart based on the story. This is an awesome Smart Board Lesson on the Black Plague and it's effect on the middle ages.
