The Medieval Lives Project (Life in the Middle Ages Simulation Activity)
In this class-wide simulation project, students will learn about the realities of daily life in high medieval European society. By focusing on a “type” of medieval person, building a character based on that type, researching cultural details of life for their character, determining their character’s relationship to other characters, and presenting their character both formally and creatively, students will work together to build a medieval town—as its inhabitants! Joan of Arc Discovery Day: A No Prep Stations Activity
This stations activity introduces students to Joan of Arc through several different perspectives. Students rotate through seven stations, scanning barcodes, listening to videos, and reading texts to learn about her life, "miracles," trial, canonization, and influence during the Hundred Years' War. An exit ticket is also included for students to complete for you to check for understanding!
