IB Theory of Knowledge - What Knowledge is important?
This exercise ask ToK students to work in groups to design their own IB curriculum. What subjects should be mandatory? What subjects should be optional? Why? All of these prompts are used to help guide students to produce a "new" IBDP curriculum. Groups share their conclusions with the class. Fantasy Vacation Internet Research Project
This lesson plan was designed to increase the computer literacy and internet research skills of 7th and 8th grade English Language Learners with very little experience with computers. Students use the internet to schedule a flight, hotel, transportation and visits to attractions within a two-week time span. Students must carefully budget their expenses. Students use power point to organize their information and photos. The assignment sheet and grading rubric are within the Notebook file.
