We solve triangles using the three laws: Cosines, Sines and Tangents - in addition we show derivations of the three laws and, in the case of the law of tangents, Newton's Formula. As our presentation is rather parsimonius, we offer talking points in the vocabulary section. We suggest the use of the Law of Tangents for both SAS and SSS solutions. And,demonstrate the traditional use of the laws of Sines and Cosines as well. The unit is completed with a discussion of SSA and the ambiguous case.
