Mystery Word Puzzle
A great puzzle activity to do for morning work. Fill in the boxes with the letters of a mystery word (I frequently use vocabulary words) and have the students try to rearrange the letters to find the mystery word. This is a great way to work in prefixes, suffixes, inflected endings, etc.
