See Saw Activity: Research King Tut's Tomb
This is an activity I have used in conjunction with the See Saw classroom app during GATE/GT class. My students pull this up on their iPads in class and fill out the included research sheet with the facts they find while researching. They post it to their journals for their parents to view their research online.
Feel free to use this without the app! It includes a list of questions to help prompt their thinking about King Tut along the way.

American Revolution Videos For Class
In my class, my students were bored to tears by the slow and methodical reading of the textbooks. So I decided to do something about it and make the Revolution fun again! I kept in mind middle school students who are learning about the revolution, but also made it serious enough to appeal to High School and beyond as well.
The videos are broken up into 17 3-5 Minute chunks that are great for generating discussion and getting the kids into the material.

I teach gifted magnet world history and use this to review and introduce China to my seventh graders. It is an excellent online resource that may be used as a direct, whole group lesson, or students may work together in groups or break our rooms. Students start by researching the geography of China, then research more difficult topics such as their government, economy and culture.
