Life Lesson #407 The Power of Irrational Commitment
Love makes all the difference in learning. And what makes children feel loved is having at least one person in their lives who have made an "irrational commitment" to them. Many children are born to parents however, who have never had a parent or teacher make such a commitment to them. Such children are certainly capable of learning, but they would be better served by first unlearning that they are incapable and unlovable. When that unlearning is accomplished, be prepared to watch them flower.

Neurons in the brain are affected by people, places and things that kids encounter every moment of every day. Some people, places and things work like plant fertilizer and grow massive neuronal redwoods in the brain. Others work like barren soil and neurons end up shrunken and depleted, negatively affecting the health and well-being of every organ in the body.
