This is a worksheet that works well with weather.com because it is similar to the format on that website. It has sections for weather "right now", "today" and "tonight" along with "tomorrow's weather" and a section that asks what you should wear tomorrow. This is great for elementary as well as middle and high school special education. I use it for my students with moderate/severe autism. The visuals are great!

Darwin, his journey, evidence for evolution, cladograms--it's all in here. Use actual locks and boxes, OR use this fun lesson with a simple envelope system! Discuss what a warm fuzzy is. Then have each student write a nice warm fuzzy in each students booklet. This is a fun mid-year activity. I usually have my class make warm fuzzies out of pompoms afterwards. We talk about giving a warm fuzzy out to another person and how 'pay it forward' works.

This is an ACT tracker that I created for my students on Publisher. I call it high/low--fast/slow. We practice two of each piece on the Reading portion of the test and do a "Quick Write" or "Power Write" in between each. This allows students to keep track of their scores and word count and at the end of the unit they can determine which pieces they do best on and what particular order they should do them in on the real ACT test. The Quick Writes or Power Writes (from Angela Hilterbrand) help
