General Visual Arts Rubric

Metropolitan Museum AP Art History Tour by gallery
I created this file as a resource for an AP Art History field trip to the Metropolitan Museum in New York City, NY.
I found that there were no resources to guide me and my students specific to the AP art history course. This is definitely a beginner, novice level, newbie assignment! Students learn basic data entry as well as how to use the AutoFormat feature to make tables look nice and colorful! This is literally the first exercise I give my students in an Excel unit. Being a Canadian, I am affirming the stereotype about us loving hockey by making this an NHL (fictional) standings data table :)! Obviously, students could choose NFL, NBA, MLB or other nonsports related information to include in their table.

Excel 2010 Tutorial - NBA stats Using the AVERAGE math function
In this engaging beginner level activity, we will use the world of sports to illustrate how to use the AVERAGE function in Excel. Specifically, students build a spreadsheet that calculates averages based on a fictional 10 game cross sample of NBA players scoring stats.
