French Hungry Caterpillar Unit
This 72 page unit is chock full of materials for a French Hungry Caterpillar Unit. There are listening activities, teaching scripts, visuals, ideas, worksheets, matching games, and assessments. It also includes a French version of the story called La Chenille qui a Faim a Paris (The Hungry Caterpillar in Paris). This extensive unit is a great way to review/introduce days of the week, numbers, life cycle, and food vocabulary. It was a hit with my second and third grade students last year.

This invaluable document will help you create your French language report cards with ease. The comments are based on speaking, listening, reading and writing and use a 1-4 scale. The scale could be adapted to suit whatever rubric your school board uses. 4 is excellent, 3 is good, 2 is basic/grade level, and 1 is limited. The following play is an adaptation from the book "La fabuleuse histoire de Bonhomme Carnaval" written by Nadège Cochard and Mathieu Plante.
