K.I.M. Vocabulary Graphic Organizer
The K.I.M. Word Cluster Graphic Organizer is an excellent template to increase content area vocabulary for students. It expands understanding of key vocabulary terms and can be used with narrative and expository text. This strategy is very simple and requires a minimum of writing. Reading Strategy Checklist for ALL AGES
Students should be applying all their reading strategies for every time they read. Here is a graphic organizer for students to fill out the 1st and 2nd time they read a story. I usually laminate one for each student and they would fill it out with their expo marker. This is at the student's level and it shows their comprehension of the story. Presentation Feedback
Students can become distracted or apathetic during presentation days if they are not the actual presenter. It was my intent to find a way to engage all students in every presentation as well as provide meaningful feedback for the presenters. Students receive 3-5 of the prompts below (cut horizontally on the dotted lines). During the presentation, students are required to provide feedback to either a group (if it’s a group presentation) or a single presenter.
