"Benvenuti al Sud" (Welcome to the South) is an Italian remake of the french film "Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis" made in 2010, which told the story of a southern postal employee unhappily transferred to the north. But in an Italian context, the protagonist is a self-pitying northern hero dispatched to the Mezzogiorno, in a small town near Napoli called Castellabate, the plot acquires more political bite. This film explores the cultural differences between Northern Italy and Southern Italy as well
