Using Disney's Moana to Learn About the Hero's Journey and Elements of a Story
Teaching the Hero's Journey by itself doesn't quite cover everything we need students to understand about story. The Story Plot elements don't touch on the hero and what it takes for readers to feel satisfied at the end. But how do you blend these two approaches to story together?
