Division Word Problems (Interpreting the Remainder - 4th Grade Common Core)
This is a two page document.
There are four word problems on each page. Each word problem is enclosed in a box with enough room for students to show their work.
The first four word problems have "three digit dividends". The last four word problems also have "three digit dividends", but students also need to interpret the reminader on some of them.

Checking Account Mini Lesson and Activity
This is a one day activity. Students learn about deposits and withdrawls and the consequences of cashing a bad check. They are required to keep a check book accurately and there are pretend checks for the students to practice with. The activity also requires the students to complete a summary and a check book reconciliation. There are answer keys included.

Negative Exponents (Guided Notes)
This lesson is meant to be used as guided notes for a whole class. Students begin by learning the rule for negative exponents, followed by a simple proof/explanation of why.
